Coming from opposite sides of the political conflict; our guides will lead you on their walking tour of the city walls and nearby Bogside area and will tell you as they see it.
You will learn of pivotal events such as The Siege of Derry, Battle of the Bogside, civil rights campaign and Bloody Sunday. Find out also how today's unionist's rallying call of 'No Surrender' and the nationalist slogan 'Free Derry' came about.
This guided tour provides an opportunity for the visitor to walk the walls giving a platform to view the original street plan below which is still in existence today, and then to be led on a guided tour of the nearby Bogside area situated just outside the old town walls.
