Let Tours Ireland take you on a journey to discover first-hand some of the stunning filming locations from the hit TV show Game of Thrones. Our Game of Thrones & Belfast City Tour is a fully guided tour letting you see the world of Westeros in all its natural beauty as we visit 7 of Northern Ireland's main locations used in the HBO series.

Our jouney begins as we travel up the Antrim Coast Road, travelling through the 9 Glens of Antrim, an area of outstanding natural beauty. As we travel through the stunning scenery of the glens we weave past and take in other well-known parts of Westeros, learning of the areas local history.

As we continue onward towards the premier locations of our tour we stop off at Carnlough Harbour, where, in Season 6, Arya Stark jumps into the freezing water to escape the Waif and crawls up the steps into the streets of Braavos. Then before hitting the North Coast we drop by the Cushendun Caves where Melisandre's shadow baby was born. Following a break for lunch we'll have a photo stop at Carrick-a-Rede and Larrybane, the site of Renly Baratheon’s Camp.

No tour of Ireland's north coast is complete without stopping off at the Giant's Causeway, the stories of giants and fairies that inhabit this area in Irish mythology are every bit in keeping with the Game of Thrones theme.

Our final two stops on the Game of Thrones leg of our journey sees us visit the ancient ruins of Dunluce Castle and the popular photo stop, the Dark Hedges. In the HBO show, Dunluce Castle is transformed into House of Greyjoy, ruler of the Iron Islands, while the Dark Hedges is probably the most iconic of our locations, better known as Kings Road in the Game of Thrones series.

On returning to Belfast we take a tour of the city, telling you stories of the past, including that of the Titanic, and learning some of the political history as we show you peace walls and the murals of the Falls and Shankill Roads.

Tours Ireland will pick up all passenger from Belfast Port and return them in time for their cruise ships departure. Times may be altered dependant on cruise ships arrival and departure times but our experienced drivers and guides will ensure everything is kept on track every step of the way.
